The Present

Kia Ora fellow readers and welcome back to another blog post. For today's task we were asked to watch a video called "The Present" and answer some questions that were given to us based off of the video. Here is the link to the video Link.

How would you describe the boy at the start of the video ?
I would say he was really conserved and rude to the dog at first but he was also really concentrated on his video games. Physically he looked healthy and normal. In other way's he seemed very frustrated and a negative person.

What did he think of his present ? How do you know ? Why did he feel that way ?
When he first opened his present he looked really surprised until he noticed that the doggo had a missing leg he then found it disgusting and hated it. He felt this way because he only had one leg and he didn't like knowing his dog had a missing leg to. He may have also felt this way because his mother was trying to be sympathetic and he took the sympathy the wrong way, meaning he thought  that she bought the dog because it had one missing leg just like the boy.

What lesson did the boy learn by the end of the video ?
He learnt that he shouldn't take advantage of even the small things in life. He also learnt to appreciate what was given to him and that him and the dog weren't that different after all. Another thing he learnt was to respect everything no matter what.

Why is it important to be grateful for what we have ?
It is important to be grateful for what we have because other people may not have the same advantages that we have and they might only get whats known as necessities meaning the things you need to live. You should also be grateful because the person who got you what was given to you in this case the dog might have a reason for giving it to you and they will have put a lot of thought into the gift.
