This Is Just To Say
Hello fellow readers and welcome back to another blog post today we had to make a poem. This poem was based off a poem by Williams Carlos Williams called This Is Just To Say. We had to think about the worst thing that happened in our life and then we had to take parts out of his poem and turn them into the worst thing that happened in our life. We had to keep the shape of the poem the same though.
Here is my poem.
Hope you liked the poem.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your work from today. You worked well to complete this poem. I really enjoyed reading about everyone's 'worst things'. You made a mention in your post about keeping the lines in order, but when I look at your DLO they don't all seem to be in the right spot. I wonder if there is another size poster you could make on Canva which would help things be on the right line?

Kia Ora Miss Birtch,
DeleteThank you for commenting on my blog post. I will go back and redo the poem now.
Yours sincerely,
Shelby
Awesome Shelby! Great applying the feedback. It would be good next time to have the first version still on your blog. That will show evidence of how your learning improved from the first draft to the final copy. It's okay to have work that isn't "perfect" on your blog!
